The Veil of Isis (part 3)

Here is your next step, with the magenta number 3 showing where you finish chart B. The magenta number 4 shows where you pick-up the extra stitch for the bright blue 'B' on chart C. Put a stitch marker between every section, and remember that all the sections eventually become section 1 and just keep repeating chart A:2 (rows 19-25.) The chart is here and I hope you can follow along without too much frustration! I hope to have some extra time in the next few weeks, and should get a really good up-date of my knitting progress up soon. Until then, knit on!

  2. So, I decided to knit along with you. I'm the one who replied to your email about laceweight yarn (not sure which list) with my experience with using the Malabrigo Baby Merino Lace for MS3. You replied asking if I had a picture, and I lost the message. I don't have anything posted, because I don't have a camera yet.

After doing MS3, the prospect of more beads was just irresistible. Got two balls of Lacey Lamb in a dark plummy color, and 8/0 beads in a sort-of-opally-but-really-a-little-bit-beiger color. There's enough of a contrast to see them, but they're not bright-bright. Sorry. Without a camera, I can't show you. But I wanted to let you know that I'm enjoying it, and I've been able to follow your directions just fine. One question, though. I just finished the first repeat of Chart A-2. I missed it if you said it outright, but you just repeat those 8 rows for Section 1 for the time being, yeah?

Thanks for sharing your process. I've found that I'm more likely to finish things when I don't have the entire pattern in front of me to remind me how much I still have to do. If someone could dole out sections of everything I want to make, that would be great! Doesn't seem to work if I do it myself. :-)

  3. Yup. Just repeat those 8 rows for section 1. You are right with me. I'll post more in a day or two. I am away from my usual computer right now!
