What is the difference between a stitch pattern and an actual design? This comes up periodically, so I have given it some thought. The stitch I have posted here is the basis for my current project. Using this motif while developing a particular shape in a graceful way is what makes my project a design and not just a stitch pattern. What is the difference between a stitch pattern and an actual design? This comes up periodically, so I have given it some thought. The stitch I have posted here is the basis for my current project.
