Swatching for The Veil of Isis border: concept 1

These pictures give you an idea of what I am thinking about doing with the border designs. This swatch shows one corner. I didn't place any beads yet, which I will along the top of the "flowers." The central "flower" motif will be repeated along the sides, with smaller "bud" motifs on either side of each corner. I haven't decided if this is what we'll use yet. Feel free to send me comments, pro and con. I'll post more of my progress later this week. I am on the final sequence through the charts. Knit on!

  1. Oh, Andrea, this is going to be so beautiful! I can't wait to get to the edging. I'm halfway through the 3rd repeat of chart B. I'm loving the whole experience.

  4. Oh wow!! That is stunning!! I might have to really hustle and finish up some projects (and free up some needles) so that I can get in on this!

  6. Thanks for all the kind feedback. If you wait until Susie has finished, she might find all the glitchs before you get to them! And Fleegle: no mystic balls...they are already spoken for. So sorry...
