Chart glitch???

So I can't tell why, but when I checked the chart I posted yesterday, I noticed a line of decreases on the smaller chart was gone! Where it went I can't say...it is on my original chart, but the conversion to a jpg file (so I could post it here on the blog) scared the decreases away. Go figure...

I am leaving later today directly from work, so won't have another chance to update things until I get home. I hope those decreases stay put this time!

And another thing! The row numbering appears to be off (thanks Susie.) There should not be a row 16, and so there are 31 rows in the border and not 29. Just pretend I can actually count...

  1. I was looking at your chart decode and so is a double vertical decrease like Slip 2, knit 1, pass those 2 stitches over the knit one? Just want to make sure I have the term correct. Thanks.

  2. I'm pretty sure there is a mistake in row 1 of Chart D1. The 7th stitch from the right should be a k2tog instead of a knit stitch.

  3. Susie,
On the chart posted, which I just checked twice, the 7th stitch from the right on row 1 is a decrease. I am not sure what the problem is. Check the chart on the blog again...

    ~S,

Follow the link above to see a great double-vertical decrease. You need to watch the orientation of the stitches when you slip them

  4. Whoops! I didn't notice that you had caught the mistakes (I had only found the 1st row mistake while working it). Thanks for the corrections.

    Have a safe trip.

  5. And now I see...
    Susie,
That decrease was missing from the chart I posted last night, along with an entire line of decreases higher up in the pattern. The chart from today's post (where our comments are attached) is the new one. Maybe you haven't looked at this one yet?

  7. Thanks that makes sense. There are so many different 3 knit togethers and many use their terms interchangeably. :) Have a good trip.
