Happy New Year!

I want to thank those of you who left me lovely poems about the Run Quickly Sheep. We agonized over them, trying to choose the "best." I ended up polling my extended family and choosing one favorite, but the truth is I loved them all and I thank you from the bottom of my sheepy heart for taking the time to leave them for me! And the winner is Fleegle, who wrote:

See the fox!
He loves sheep!
Run quickly sheep!
Lest you become mutton!

That gave me a good laugh. I sure wish I had more Run Quickly Sheep to send one to everyone!

Moving right along...I finished my Blue Ribbon Sampler pattern and the knitting to go with it, and it looks really nice, I think. I used Lacey Lamb on a US1 needle and it blocked very well. I spent most of my holiday knitting time on that, so I don't have any other knitting to show you.     Hey, both my Lyra and Black Widow will be there too at the Yarn Place booth. They can all have a party!

    All that lovely knitting, having a party without us! Criminal...I won't be there either. Let us hope thay stay away from the red wine, eh? The sheep is coming, running quickly down the east coast. Scampering...

    Your Blue Ribbon Sampler is really beautiful! I'm not near enough to get to Long Beach so I'm in the same fix as fleegle. Congratulations to fleegle who has talent to spare!
