As many of you know, I have a book coming out in June 2014! I am most excited!!! Here is a link to Interweave Press, my publisher. In the next month I will be posting about the individual projects in more detail, but until then, you can read a bit more here:

Oh I love the doilies...the shawls are lovely, too. Congrats on a lovely book! :)
ReplyDeleteI can't wait for it!

ReplyDeleteI downloaded the e-book from Interweave last night. As usual I am thoroughly impressed. Thank you for sharing your talents with your faithful "following"

Congratulations on your new book!! looks beautiful..
ReplyDeleteI bought the e-version of your book from Interweave the other night - thank you for creating such gorgeous designs! I have since been trying to decide which to knit first and with which yarn. I'm thinking of the Dahlia shawl in Handmaiden Sea Silk, in the Jacobean Blue - do you reckon it should be okay for someone with not much experience with knitting lace shawls to tackle?
ReplyDeleteI'm hoping to knit at least one to take with me to Europe/England when I go in August. I don't often find the occasion to wear a shawl, as much as I love them, but the English countryside seems like the perfect setting, even though it will be Summer…
I love these designs but I am having difficulty with the chart for The Purple Shawl. The stitch counts on the right side (outside the repeat box) don't seem to match the chart, because there are no decreases. The right side keeps growing exponentially! Suggestions, please

ReplyDeleteThe errata for chart B on page 71 is difficult to understand. The yellow rectangle goes through the middle of stitches.

ReplyDeleteI am nearly finished wih a shawl using Schoeppel laceball, colorway Charisma. I weighed and measured and thought I had enough for the edging, but as it turns out, I mis-calculated and need a bit more, or I have to take out the edging and a row or two. I see that you have a project in this yarn & color. Might you have some left over?
ReplyDeleteI am knitting Kodama Shawl by Andrea Jurgrau and I have a problem with one stitch on Row 4. The stitch shows [/5] in it and says "sl3tog,k2tog,p3sso" My question is how do I make that. Is there a way to see this stitch work?
ReplyDeleteThank You
I am knitting the ghost orchid shawl. Have reached row 175 and only have 13 st's left at end of firsts of repeats. Pattern states to repeat x9 then x6 then by x6 should the last one not be x2. Would love to hear from you.
